Caring Committee
As a Jewish community, we recognize our commitment to care for each other as we fulfill the mitzvot of G’milut Hasasdim — acts of loving-kindness. These acts shape and sustain a network of relationships which can aid us during the course of our lives.
The Caring Committee assists members by offering:
- Financial assistance to community members
- Phone calls
- Caring cards
- Visits at home or in the hospital
- Mitzvah meals for the ill or bereaved
- Transportation to TBI events
- Transportation to doctor’s appointments
Please notify the Rabbi or call the office if you know of an individual who is in the hospital or in need of assistance.
Medical Equipment: Do you have medical equipment or supplies that you are willing to loan or give to a TBI member? Walker, wheelchair, grabber, etc? Please contact Saretta Gurss at 559-367-7737 or TBI at 559-432-3600 to volunteer -even if it’s for an occasional events.
